Beaches of Albena in Bulgaria
The beach is over 5 km long and very wide, like an ocean coast, about 150 meters wide, with fine sand. According to the management company, there are 21 beaches in the Albena resort. This year, most of the sandy beaches, including the famous Irakli Beach, have been significantly eroded, and the gentle slope into the water has become steep, but not in Albena. In our opinion, the beach in Albena is, if not the best, then at least one of the best beaches in Bulgaria. The sea depth does not exceed 1.6 meters at a distance of 100-150 meters from the shore. The beach has been awarded the Blue Flag since 1996. Lifeguards are on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
